True chutney includes vinegar, sugar, spices, and fruit. Here yoghurt serves the same purpose as vinegar. Try it on grilled meats such as lamb, chicken, or beef.

Ingredient List

  • 2 serrano chiles, seeded and sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup packed fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 cup Mountain High® original or lowfat plain yoghurt

Preparation

  1. Place all ingredients except yoghurt in a bowl of a food processor. Cover and process until smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary to make sure everything gets finely chopped. Transfer to a small bowl; gently stir in yoghurt. Cover and chill 1 to 2 hours to blend flavors. Cover and refrigerate any leftover chutney.
