True chutney includes vinegar, sugar, spices, and fruit. Here yoghurt serves the same purpose as vinegar. Try it on grilled meats such as lamb, chicken, or beef.
Ingredient List
- 2 serrano chiles, seeded and sliced
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup packed fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1/2 cup Mountain High® original or lowfat plain yoghurt
Preparation
- Place all ingredients except yoghurt in a bowl of a food processor. Cover and process until smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary to make sure everything gets finely chopped. Transfer to a small bowl; gently stir in yoghurt. Cover and chill 1 to 2 hours to blend flavors. Cover and refrigerate any leftover chutney.
