Ingredient List
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup Mountain High® original or lowfat plain yoghurt
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
Preparation
- In a large bowl, mix butter and sugar about 2 minutes. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add vanilla extract and yoghurt, scraping bowl occasionally, just blended.
- In a medium bowl, mix flour, salt, and baking powder; add to the sugar mixture. Mix on low speed, scraping bowl occasionally, until mixed until mixed.
- Turn out cookie dough onto a floured surface. Roll out dough to a 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with a 3-inch cookie cutter and place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F for 13 to 15 minutes or until edges just begin to brown. Remove cookies to cooling rack; cool completely. Frost and decorate as desired.
