Ingredient List

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Mountain High® original or lowfat plain yoghurt
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

Preparation

  1. In large bowl, mix butter and sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. On low speed, add the vanilla and yoghurt and mix until just blended.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder well. Add to the mixing bowl. Blend dough on low speed until flour is incorporated, scraping down sides of mixing bowl.
  3. Turn dough out onto a floured surface. Roll out dough to a 1/2-inch thick. Cut with a 3-inch cookie cutter and place about 2 inches apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 13 to 15 minutes or until edges just begin to brown. Transfer cookies to wire racks and cool completely. Frost and decorate as desired.
