An easy way to start the morning without a lot of cleanup. Just bake it, and then top it with additional yoghurt, fresh berries, fruit preserves, warm maple syrup, or powdered sugar.

Ingredient List

  • 1 pound Challah or brioche bread, cut into one-inch cubes
  • 8 eggs
  • 3 cups from 1 tub Mountain High™ Original Plain Whole Milk Yoghurt
  • 2 tablespoons maple-flavored syrup
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher (coarse) salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Arrange bread cubes in greased 13x9-inch pan. Beat eggs in a large bowl. Add yoghurt, syrup, sugar, salt, and cinnamon, mixing well. Pour evenly over bread cubes. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Uncover and bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes or until golden.

Tips

  • Feel free to use Mountain High™ Original Vanilla or Strawberry Yogurt or Plain or Vanilla Low Fat Yoghurt instead of Mountain High™ Original Plain Whole Milk Yoghurt, if you'd like.
