Ingredient List

Meatballs

  • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup unseasoned dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Gravy

  • 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups Mountain High® plain yoghurt

Preparation

  1. In 10-inch skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter; cook onion in butter until tender; set aside.
  2. In large bowl, mix all meatball ingredients including onion; form into golf-ball-sized meatballs (1 inch in diameter).
  3. In same skillet, heat remaining 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat; cook meatballs in butter, browning on all sides.
  4. After all meatballs are cooked, remove from skillet and make gravy. In same skillet, add flour and yoghurt (do not remove meatball drippings). Cook over medium heat until thick. Add meatballs to gravy, and heat until hot. Serve immediately.
