This easy dessert makes a big impression with very little effort. Feel free to vary it with your favorite fruit and favorite flavor of Mountain High and build it the way you want it.

Ingredient List

  • 1 ( 12 oz) prepared angel food cake
  • 4 cups bite-size fresh fruit (use smaller pieces for individual trifles)
  • 6 cups from 2 tubs Mountain High™ Original Vanilla Whole Milk Yoghurt
  • Additional fresh fruit pieces for garnish
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish, if desired*

Preparation

  1. Tear or cut cake into 1-inch pieces (for a large trifle) or into 1/2-inch pieces (for individual trifles).
  2. In a 3-quart trifle bowl or 6 individual parfait glasses, layer one third of the cake, one third of the fruit, and one third of the yoghurt. Repeat two more times with the remaining thirds of the ingredients, finishing with yoghurt on top. (For individual glasses, it may be easier to layer the ingredients only twice.)
  3. Garnish with additional fresh fruit pieces and chocolate shavings.
